About Our Club
The Glendale Democratic Club (GCD) welcomes all registered Democrats and new citizens and young people who intend to register Democratic. The club devotes the energy to educating the public about political issues, hearing guest speakers from the democratic community and campaigning to elect Democrats to local, state and national offices.

CANDIDATE FORUMS
The GDC hosts events to acquaint the public with candidates and issues. For example, we organize forums for Glendale City Council candidates & propositions on the ballots.

FOR THE LOVE OF DEMOCRACY ANNUAL GALA
GDC hosts a For the Love of Democracy dinner each year. This evening of fun and community-building features a well known key-note speaker in past years these have included Presidential candidate Michael Dukakis, journalist Alexander Cockburn, and columnist Arianna Huffington.

Join us and we’ll take back our nation one election at a time! GDC members include a prominent State Assembly member. Glendale City Council members, and a member of the Community College board. Our member dues are very affordable only $30 a year.

Sometimes government policy is the best way for the American people to meet a social challenge.

Freedom of choice across the scope a person’s life is critically important this includes moral, medical, spiritual and financial issues.

Every citizen has inalienable rights to free association, free speech (especially political speech), and free assembly (especially political assemblies) regardless of whether the government currently in power approves.
